Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 6, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Fort Detroit Logistics LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the AegisRoad mobile application and website (together, the "Service"). AegisRoad is fleet-management software that lets a fleet owner see their vehicles' location, review driving history, manage drivers and vehicles, log fuel, and receive reports.

The short version: AegisRoad collects location and fleet data to provide live tracking and reporting to fleet owners. Drivers control location sharing with an in-app toggle. We do not sell your data. Raw GPS location history is automatically deleted after 90 days. You can delete your account and data from within the app at any time.

Who this policy covers

The Service is used by two types of people: fleet owners/managers, who create an account to manage a fleet, and drivers, who are invited by an owner and use the app to be located while working and to log fuel. This policy applies to both.

Information we collect

Account information

When an account is created, we collect an email address and password (passwords are stored only as a secure hash), the fleet/business name, and each member's display name and role (owner, manager, or driver).

Location information

For driver devices with tracking enabled, we collect precise GPS location — including while the app is in the background — along with related data such as speed, heading, accuracy, and timestamps. This is the core function of the Service: it lets the fleet owner see vehicle locations on a live map and review the routes that were driven. See "Location and your choices" below for how this is controlled.

Fleet and usage data

We collect the information you enter or generate in the app, including vehicles, trips and routes, geofences (such as a home base), fuel logs, messages between fleet members, and vehicle documents or photos you upload.

Device and technical data

To deliver notifications and operate the Service, we collect device push-notification tokens and basic technical identifiers. We may also collect limited diagnostic information to keep the Service working.

Payment information

Subscriptions are purchased and managed on our website through our payment processor, Stripe. Stripe handles your card details directly; we do not store full card numbers on our systems.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
